Hibiscus Are Blooming Both in Taiwan and at Home.

Hibiscus Flower at Home #1

Hibiscus Flower at Home #2

I came back from Taiwan last week. It was a wonderful business trip. I enjoyed beautiful Taiwanese scenery, delicious food, unique religious buildings and colorful flowers. Though it was my first trip to Taiwan, strange to say, I felt everything seemed familiar to me.

One month ago, I bought a short hibiscus tree. It had a lot of flowers.
I found beautiful natural hibiscus trees in Taiwan.
Which flowers do you like more?       ... I can’t tell it.

Another Business Trip. Where Am I Going to?

I went on an oversea business trip again last week, following the trip to South Korea last time.
Where did I go?
Maybe, I’ll tell you about it next time.
The view of Mt. Fuji from the sky was surprisingly beautiful.
I’m happy to share those pictures with you, tonight.
The itinerary was stuffed with bunch of work. I’m tired of the trip and today’s tennis singles match in the scorching weather. I’ll go to bed soon. Good night! zzz

Business Trip to South Korea #4

On the final day of my business trip to South Korea, I had a half day free time walking around capital Seoul with my colleague.

We had put our baggage in lockers in Seoul station. Then we went to Namdaemun Market and Myeongdong Cathedral on foot. It took just fifteen minutes from the station.
The cathedral was very beautiful. I took not a few pictures in it.

Business Trip to South Korea #3

Office staff working for our subsidiary took us to nice restaurants everyday after work.

Yes, Korean foods and drinks suited my palate very much. Some foods were too spicy, but all in all, they were delicious.

I enjoyed every meal and atmosphere of the restaurant in Korea.

Business Trip to South Korea #2

After landing on Gimpo International Airport, my boss and I took a taxi and headed to Suwon; about 30-minute-ride brought us to the hotel we had booked.

Suwon lies approximately 30 kilometers (20 miles) south of Seoul. It houses one of CANON subsidiaries and many Samsung Electronics factories.
It was heavily raining.

Business Trip to South Korea #1

I went on a business trip to South Korea with my boss. The work itself was very meaningful and the time after work there was also very wonderful.

The only bad thing during the trip was its weather.
Rain, rain, rain, rain, cloudy, and rain.
I saw a clear sky only from an airplane.

Business Trip to Mitsukaido

I went to a Canon affiliated company in Ibaraki prefecture on business from last Monday to Thursday. I stayed in a small town called Mitsukaido.
I only walked around in the town in the early morning and after work at night.
Strange to say, I rarely met people in the town. The town seemed like a ghost town.

Business Trip To Tokyo

I made a business trip to CANON headquarters in Tokyo to attend the seminar of software development technology last week.
The seminar was fruitful for my daily work, but not interesting enough to post an article about it on my blog.

On my way to the headquarters, I made a short visit to Ebisu which was one of my most favorite towns in Tokyo. There were a lot of beautiful flowers and high rise buildings.
I took pictures for a couple of hours there.
If you like taking pictures and have a chance to visit Ebisu, never miss to visit Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. You can enjoy watching a bunch of pictures.

Business Trip to Mizonokuchi

I went to CANON Mizonokuchi Training Center for taking lectures of management skills last Wednesday and Thursday.
The lectures were, to say the least, not exciting nor interesting to me, but I could have been able to refresh myself by forgetting about daily routines.
It was a crispy sunny day on Wednesday. I took pictures near the Training Center at the afternoon break, as I did when I went there three years ago.
I walked along a small stream, looking flowers and butterflies for ten to fifteen minutes.

Business Trip to Tokyo

I went on a business trip to Tokyo last week to attend a seminar on semiconductor production process engineering. I’m a member of software development department of semiconductor equipment in my company, CANON.

Even being on the wrong side of forty, I feel satisfied with learning something new. I like playing tennis, web surfing, taking pictures, biking, camping, … Last but not least, learning new things or acquiring new knowledge always gives me great satisfaction.

I can’t post pictures of the seminar but instead, post the pictures of Tokyo in which I lived for eighteen years.

Business Trip to Ohita

I left Utsunomiya at AM 9:11 for Haneda airport to take a plane to Ohita prefecture in Kyushu isle. I have to work at Canon Ohita branch for coming three days from Monday to Wednesday.

Kyushu isle is located in south of Honshu main isle. It was heavily raining at Haneda airport but it’s not raining here in Ohita.

After arriving at Ohita airport, which is surrounded by the sea, I took a hovercraft to the outskirt of Ohita city. The vehicle could run both on the surface of the sea and on the land seamlessly. It’s cool!

The hovercraft is lifted by downward blasts of air which create a cushion of air between the hull and the land or water. And it is driven forward like an airplane by the thrusting force of the propellers mounted on it.

I had few hours walking around the city alone in the afternoon. Now I am staying in a hotel near JR Ohita station and typing in my note PC.
An occasional business trip refreshes me by seeing different scenery and eating local foods. It's fun to me.
